Over 15 Healthy Mediterranean Snacks for Kids and Adults

Check out these fabulous, healthy ideas.....

  1. Watermelon .... a family favourite in this house

  2. Fresh peas fresh out of their pods (or even frozen peas are pretty tasty)

  3. Blackberries (my kids love them...its a great activity collecting them as a family)

  4. Mezze plates ...they could literally contain anything from the fridge

  5. King prawns and rose marie sauce

  6. Handful nuts....walnuts are especially a great sauce of omega 3

  7. Carrots and hummus

  8. Homemade Vegetable soup

  9. Satsumas or orange slices

  10. Honeydew melon

  11. Blueberries and air popped popcorn ....popcorn is wholemeal and the blueberries add a pop of sweetness

  12. celery or apple and nut butter

  13. A spoonful of nut butter .....this feels a bit naughty, but it is so much better for you than chocolate spread

  14. Nut butter on toast topped with strawberries, banana, blueberries or apple

  15. Oats i.e. porridge or overnight oats....this is great if you are really hungry and there is still a long wait till dinner
