Watermelon .... a family favourite in this house
Fresh peas fresh out of their pods (or even frozen peas are pretty tasty)
Blackberries (my kids love them...its a great activity collecting them as a family)
Mezze plates ...they could literally contain anything from the fridge
King prawns and rose marie sauce
Handful nuts....walnuts are especially a great sauce of omega 3
Carrots and hummus
Satsumas or orange slices
Honeydew melon
Blueberries and air popped popcorn ....popcorn is wholemeal and the blueberries add a pop of sweetness
celery or apple and nut butter
A spoonful of nut butter .....this feels a bit naughty, but it is so much better for you than chocolate spread
Nut butter on toast topped with strawberries, banana, blueberries or apple
Oats i.e. porridge or overnight oats....this is great if you are really hungry and there is still a long wait till dinner
